Twitter Twibutes is my new Twitter memorial website with two simple aims in mind; 1. For Tweeters to honor the memory of a loved one lost to Cancer. 2. To raise money for Cancer Research UK. Why? My name is Stephen, and I am a Tweeter (@nimblerunner) and like so many others we have lost family and friends to Cancer. We often wished we could find a way to do something for charity in their name. It then occurred to us there were lots of people who would like to do something good in the name of their loved ones. How does Twitter Twibutes work?
It's an online memorial exclusively for Tweeters.
All you need to do is sponsor me a min of £5 and then Tweet Me the name of a special person who you have lost to cancer and I will add the name of your loved one to my shirt.


What do I get for my donation to charity?
1. The knowledge that someone (me) is doing something in memory of your loved one on YOUR behalf.
2. I will a direct link from this website on the relevant page back to your Twitter Username
3. I will also add the name of your loved one to our relevant running Twibute pages.
4. On the day of the running event I will wear my Twitter Twibute shirt with pride for all to see and I will Tweet as I run !!
5. You can show your family & friends the lasting Twibute we have made together.

Can I pay for a permanent special Twibute with their photo?
Yes you can. For a small annual Paypal subscription we will add a photograph (supplied by you) to our family Twibute pages.
